Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will help provide basic school supplies, snacks to fuel their energy throughout the school day, as well as cleaning supplies to keep our classroom environment tidy and germ-free! This will help to prepare them to take on the day by providing them the tools that they need to complete their work, helping them to destress, and to curb their hunger. Many of my students begin the school year without the essentials, and this causes them to feel overwhelmed and unprepared. Additionally, many students stop by my room asking for snacks because they are hungry. Who can focus on writing an essay or reading a novel when their stomach is growling? My students and I would be absolutely thrilled to receive these items!
