Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Care Closet is a resource for all students to access when they have a need in school. Snacks, sensory items, and books are important to students for a variety of reasons, especially in terms of supporting their overall well-being, engagement, and learning. These items help fuel students with food insecurities, regulate emotions, reduce stress and emotional growth.

Students who have access to items such as snacks, sensory tools and books, feel more comfortable and confident in school.

Together, snacks, sensory items, and books play a crucial role in creating a supportive, balanced, and stimulating environment for students, promoting both their academic and emotional well-being.

Ms. Furman Elementary School 7 Grades 3-5

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.

Equity Focus

At this school, more than 50% of students are Black, Latino, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households. Learn how your donation to this school supports a more equitable education.
