This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have such amazing students this year! They work hard throughout the day and try their absolute best! However, they start to lose steam as the day goes on. We have lunch pretty late in the day (6th period) and they start to get hungry around 4-5th period. I would love to be able to provide some snacks for them so they have a bit of energy until lunch. Some of them also attend after-school and don't have enough snacks left over to eat from. We do provide them with snacks after after-school, but we don't have many snacks for them to choose from.
These snacks provide students with a variety to choose from to keep them focused for the remainder of the day and after after-school.
