My Project

I am a teacher at a Title I, low-income school. We do snack every day and have the parents provide snacks once a month to help so that everyone has snacks. I am trying to provide snacks for the class, so that I can help relieve the burden of the cost for my families!

Snacks help keep us focused!

When we eat a snack in the middle of the morning, it helps keep us focused on our learning. We do all of our literacy skills in the morning and want to be ready to learn but it is hard to do when our tummies are rumbling.

By giving my students these snacks I know that they will not be hungry and focused on that. They will be ready to learn and not have to worry about where the next snack might come from!
