Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are fortunate that our school offers breakfast in the morning for students, however so many students arrive late and very hungry!

It is very important that we keep snacks in the classroom for students who arrive hungry, so that they can focus on learning!

We also want these students to arrive warm with hats and gloves!

Our classroom is made up for 23 students, with 7 students who live in shelters. We try our best to write names on their belongings, but students are constantly losing their hats and gloves. Teachers often spent their own money buying new hats, gloves, and even coats for students who are in need. Because of this I am posting a project for snacks, hats, and gloves, to keep in the room when students are in need.
