Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project has multiple elements to it. First, incentives. My students love snacks, and our school uses a point system to reward them for good behavior. This portion of the project will enable me to provide them with prizes for the points they earn. Second, the 24 game is an excellent method of getting students to improve their number sense, 4 skills with the four operations, exponents and order of operations. Finally, our classroom needs to be print-rich, with numerous posters (anchor charts) around the room. These posters will fill in some of my classroom's poster gaps.

Each item has a different purpose in my classroom and will help drive my students learning.
