Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kids love snack time! A school day is just too long to go without a much needed snack break. I have requested these items to help prepare and fill my snack cart for the new school year. Our snack cart will help us focus on the work at hand instead of being hungry. I have requested some of our favorite snacks like Takis, Cheez-its and fruit snacks. I have tried to create a variety of snacks so that there is something for everyone.

Students are better able to stay engaged in their learning and class activities when they are able to have a snack break and eat what they love.

I will be asking parents for snack donations throughout the year. I would like to have the snack cart ready when school starts. I know that for many families, snacks are not affordable. Your donations will help provide the snacks our class needs to stay focused and be successful with their learning
