This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During my advisory time and Neuroscience lessons we talk a lot about nutrition. I want to support students with snacks, as I believe it’s important for students to have something in their stomachs.

As a neuroscience teacher, I understand how crucial food is for students’ mood, focus, and participation.

I have a large number of students, and I would like to provide some snacks during these activities and to guide students through reading and understanding the labeling and talking about nutrition as part of their investigation question for their PBAT.
