This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I love that students bring their energy and excitement for learning to our classroom! One might think that teachers are responsible for that excitement, but students take it to another level. Students learn best when they are engaged and excited about subject content. That energy and excitement for learning can deplete quickly if and when a student faces hunger.
We need snacks!
I aim to create an environment where lack of food throughout the school day is not a concern for students. I want students to grow, succeed, and conquer this roadblock while advocating for their needs.
