Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Oftentimes a student has their head on the table and when I ask them "have you eaten anything today?" the answer is "no." Without this basic human need, students cannot concentrate on learning. Good nutrition helps students show up at school prepared to learn. Because improvements in nutrition make students healthier, students are likely to have fewer absences and attend class more frequently.

Many of our families don't have the financial ability to purchase snacks to send their children to school with.

With your donation, students will enjoy cereal cups for breakfast, granola bars, and healthier chip options when to keep their energy going throughout the long school day and to prepare them for any after-school activities they have. Please help me bring snack time back.
