This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having access to snacks and energy treats will be important for every runner to make it to the finish line on RACE DAY! As our school team continues to grow in interest, we kindly ask for snacks to provide for students. Running after school can be a challenge for some students, having not ate since lunch time. By coaches providing snacks for members, it will increase their capacity to push themselves and have the energy to improve their times!

As we continue training for races leading up to the Los Angeles Marathon, having snacks for students will go a long way and help them meet their running goals!

The coaches of the team and myself want to encourage all students to commit for the season. We are here to support their health and running goals. Providing every student snacks will surely boost their energy! In addition, providing them with energy chews, gels, and cookies for RACE DAY will make a bigger impact on their performance.
