Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my 5th grade class seem to always be hungry. We take a snack break because lunch is not until 1:00. While most kids bring in their own snacks there are many who do not bring in anything to eat. The biggest reason is because snacks are too expensive.
Having snacks ready for the kids who do not have anything to eat would be so helpful.
It is very hard for kids to concentrate when they have growling stomachs. These are great kids and I do not want them to be hungry.
