Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a second grade teacher and in our school, every grade gets a snack time. Unfortunately many of my students' families are unable to afford snacks for them and they are left feeling hungry and like an outsider among their peers.

My class is generous and they try very hard to share what little snacks some of the students may have but it is not enough food for them or for those who do not have any.

I want to make sure my students are focused and happy in school which means having full tummies and fewer worries. Please donate snacks so my class will all be able to have a more positive snack time together.
