Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The snacks I’m requesting will make a big difference in my students’ learning by helping them stay focused and energized throughout the day. Many of my 9th-grade students come to class hungry, and this affects their ability to concentrate and engage in lessons. By providing snacks, I can ensure they have the fuel they need to participate and succeed. They know my classroom is a place where their needs are met, and that gives them the confidence to do their best.

My goal for this project is to continue building the supportive environment we’ve created.

My students are special because we’ve built a strong bond, and they know I genuinely care about their well-being. They love coming to class, not just for the lessons but for the sense of community. I want to ensure they feel safe, supported, and ready to learn every day. Snacks are a small but impactful way to show them I’m here for them in every way.
