Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to have snacks for my class as they explore a new geometric concept while having class outside. We are beginning a trigonometry unit and I have a day planned where there will be real world examples of the word problems that students will be assessed on.

What better way to end a day of exploring and learning than to have a snack as they head to their next class?

My students are hard working, despite being in an "at-risk" environment. I appreciate the efforts that they bring to class each day, and I appreciate any help that is given for this project.
