My Project

Our school serves a population of students from varying socioeconomic backgrounds. We strive to provide a nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically and socially. However, many of our students come from homes facing financial challenges, which can impact their ability to focus and learn effectively given lack of food.

The food provided by our school funding is not enough to fight student hunger throughout the day.

I am seeking funding to provide healthy snacks for our students through the DonorsChoose platform. The provision of nutritious snacks will support their overall well-being and enhance their ability to concentrate in class. Research shows that proper nutrition is directly linked to improved academic performance and behavioral outcomes in students.

With your generous support, we can ensure that students at NBC have the opportunity to reach their full potential by addressing the fundamental need for nutritious snacks. Together, we can create a positive impact on the lives of our students and empower them to succeed academically and beyond.
