My Project

The Snacks for Mental Health: Nourishing Minds project aims to provide healthy snacks for my students who are in the South Bronx. We aim to foster an environment that supports both mental health and academic success. Many students face food insecurity, which can hinder their ability to focus and learn. By offering nutritious snacks, we seek to boost their energy, improve concentration, and enhance overall well-being. This initiative specifically targets Black and Latino students, acknowledging and addressing the unique challenges they face. With your support, we can create a positive impact on their educational experience, promoting healthier choices and a sense of community.
