Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am planning various Lunar New Year activities to celebrate the Year of the Snake. My students will learn about all the animals represented in the Chinese Zodiac. I know they will be thrilled to find out that most of them were born in the Year of the Monkey or the Year of the Rooster.

I can't wait to celebrate the Year of the Snake with my 2nd and 3rd graders!

We will share noodles, make crafts, and more. I am requesting snacks to add to our day. I have many activities planned over the two weeks of Lunar New Year. I look forward to sharing them with my students.
