Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to school to try and gain the skill needed to be successful in their communities. Many of them are unable to bring snacks to help with the pang of hunger during their time trying to learn.

I fully believe that in order for students to learn they need to be able to focus on the instruction and not on their stomachs hurting because they did not have breakfast.

Many times my students are only able to eat a meal at lunchtime.

I have students ask every day if I have something for them to eat. Please help me be able to say yes! the next time a child asks me for food. With your help, we can give a student the energy to learn and not worry about their stomach hurting from lack of food.
