My Project

Many of my students come to school to get their meals in addition to get an education. Unfortunately, the school-provided breakfast and lunch are often not enough to satisfy these adult-sized hungry tummies. We know that being hungry makes it so much harder for students to be ready and able to learn.

I worry about my students on a regular basis because I know that so many of them are food insecure.

This project of providing snacks will allow me to do something, however small, to help them feel full and be ready to participate in school every day.
