My Project

Certamen is a Latin language quiz bowl. Students compete against other schools on topics such as Latin grammar, Roman history, and Classical mythology. Our school has three levels of competitors: novice (grades 7-8), intermediate (grades 8-10), and advanced (grades 9-12).

This project will fund snacks for the students' after school meetings and scrimmages as they prepare for the Certamen quiz bowl.

Our students eat lunch very early, so by 2pm they are hungry. These snacks will give them a little something to keep them going. We are fortunate to have brand new water dispensers, so the paper cups will suffice for drinks of water.
