Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During the school year, it is important that my Pre-K students' needs are met. One of those needs is making sure that they are well fed.

I would love to provide daily snacks, a fridge and a microwave for my students so that they are nourished and ready to learn throughout the school day.

By having a fridge, students can keep their food chilled throughout the day. A microwave will help heat up the food. My students have various allergies and dietary needs. The variety of snacks, plus the ability to keep food items cold and hot will contribute to an environment where everyones' food needs are satisfied.

My goal for this project is for my students to feel comfortable in their new classroom environment by providing snacks for them. I know that my students learn better when they eat breakfast, lunch and snack. Furthermore, I chose a variety of snacks to fit the different dietary needs of my young learners.

My Pre-K students are special! Each student brings their own talents and learning styles to my classroom. They are embraced and welcomed every day. I care about my students' wellbeing and I would love to provide snacks for them!
