My Project

The parents in my school face economic hardships such as transportation and day-to-day living costs such as food. To many students, our school is like a second home. Our school provides important essentials, resources, and technology, which many of them may not have in their homes.

I am currently the Athletic Director for all after-school sports.

It is important that students have snacks and drinks in order to energize after school.

An old saying I have heard from time and time again is "The people who give you their food, give you their heart".

I would like for students to know I care for them and If I can offer them something so simple such as a snack, I think it will help them know that they are not alone. This will help student socially and emotionally focus on the game.

The items included in this project will be use as snacks for after school sports either before or after the game. Often times, students don’t have the funds to bring their own food items after school and most don't eat their own school lunch, but, I hope this small token will alleviate some appetites. This will allow students to focus on the task at hand without feeling hungry.

These snacks such as chips, crackers, and cookies will be used to provide students a boost of energy before a game.

This project will help support the volleyball, track, and basketball teams.
