This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a Special Educator of high school students. I support students in the subjects of Algebra, Geometry, and English. Many of my students have learning disabilities. They often feel overwhelmed and frustrated when it comes to doing tasks independently. They require additional academic support and encouragement to boost their self-esteem.

With your donation, I can provide snacks for students who choose to stay after school to receive tutoring.

My after school classroom space will be more inviting when students have snacks while they are doing homework or receiving extra support.
