Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is such an important project. We have a late lunch and the children are always hungry mid-morning. Most do not bring in a snack from home.

No child should ever be hungry!

It is so hard for the children to focus if they are worried about being hungry. Having snacks available in the classroom helps them to focus on learning to read. 1st Grade is where children learn to read and they really need to be focused as much as possible.

They are so happy and ready to learn when they have full bellies!
