This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having access to snacks and energy treats will be important for every runner to make it to the finish line on RACE DAY! Because all of our practices are all after school, many students have not eaten since lunch and might be hungry. By providing snacks, it will increase their capacity to push themselves and have the energy to improve their workout!

As we gear up for marathon training and increase mileages, having snacks will become essential to be energized and ready to train!

Knowing that many of my racers will be hungry after school, I want to support their health and running goals by providing snacks = energy boost! All runners on the team try their best every day, working to improve their health, and are passionate about running!
