Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students work hard all day and having a snacks pantry where they can pick up a snack to help them move beyond their mid-morning or mid-day slump is super important to their learning.

This snack pantry has been a solace to many of my kids, and others in my school who I do not directly teach.

Seeing the smile on their faces as they leave my room with a bag of snacks has been a great motivation for me to continue operating this snacks pantry.

It also goes a long way in showing my kids that I do not just care about their grades, but I really do care about their well-being. God bless your kindness as you give towards the continuity of this pantry.
