Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are constantly coming in hungry and asking for snacks, and hygiene products. With the lack of resources and funds these families have, the food packages will greatly benefit my students and will allow them to focus more on their daily academic learning; one knows when there is hunger involved it is very difficult to focus on anything else. I also want to teach them the importance of hygiene and basic life skills. With your support, I will be able to provide students who are in need with food and supplies while they are in school and at home.
