My Project

Many of my students were affected by Hurricane Ian. I have 2 students who had to throw away everything from their house and have been displaced. Many of my students had to throw away hundreds of dollars of food. Some students receive free and reduced lunch but others have trouble being able to afford lunch. Some students rely on snack time to get most of their nutrients. By helping me with snacks, I can better help my students focus on schoolwork instead of worrying about where their next meal is coming from.

I use candy as incentives for when a student has exceptional behavior or when they answer a question or participate in a conversation with an insightful comment.

By helping me with incentives, my students will be able to be more excited about coming to school. My students are so nice and thoughtful, and I would love to see them be more excited about learning.
