Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Unfortunately, we are running very low on snacks. My students eat lunch very early; therefore, they need to eat snacks every afternoon. My students are mostly non-verbal and diagnosed with autism. It is difficult and challenging to express their needs and wants. Many of them have severe diet restrictions and/or are very picky eaters. These snacks would get us through the rest of the school year, and their bellies wouldn't be starving as the school day comes to an end. The snacks I chose are meant for my students' likes and follow their dietary restrictions.

Lastly, the t-shirts will be used for projects and as smocks when we are painting.

Currently, we do not have smocks and our clothes keep getting so dirty after our hands-on painting activities. We truly appreciate any and all of your generosity!
