Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being a high school teacher, I really like to keep snacks stocked in my classroom. Teenagers are always hungry, and if keeping them fed with snacks helps to keep them on track, then it is the least I can do.

Providing snacks and new books to read helps to keep my high schoolers engaged.

And if they are engaged, they are making it through the whole day of school, and then hopefully onto their after-school activities. Keeping kids in school, and succeeding, is all a teacher can ask for.
