Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and have the desire to learn.

My 3rd grade students are a minority group; they come from a low socioeconomic environment.

Despite their economical situations, they are dedicated to learning and trying their best. My students work hard to get smart.

The students in my class absolutely love learning, and they persevere in their assignments despite their various needs. Our students' families are from a low socio-economic level and are unlikely to afford the additional supplies for their child.

My Project

With this project, I will be able to provide snack items, coloring tools, and drawing paper to the "Goody" bags that I will distribute to students while they are learning from home.

The art supplies will help students learn from home, and be more engaged during their art lessons via zoom.

Additionally, students will be able to express themselves through their art pieces in their leisure time. I know they will be forever grateful for these donations. Let's help these awesome students get back to learning vs. being "hangry"!
