My Project

At this school, more than 100% of students are Black American, and more than 98% come from low-income households. Our school is nestled in an at-risk community where our scholars (students) live. Help me provide the students in my classroom with snacks that will fuel them to learn. Throughout the day I have several students come to me and ask for snacks and beverages, I believe that by actually having these items, students will be able to focus on classroom lessons and materials instead of hunger and thirst. Our students are ambitious and visionaries. We as teachers need a variety of things to help them reach their full potential in education. But we also need a safe and clean environment for students and teachers.
