My Project
There are many areas with unfavorable weather, and its effects on people are unexpected. Storms and tornadoes are examples of extreme weather events that can happen quickly and violently. Our top priority for my students in such a situation is their safety. Hurricanes and tornadoes will demolish everything in their path leaving devastation and despair in its path.
Student safety is essential and must come first.
The iPad that I have selected will give students access to complete assignments and participate in instructional learning on top of minimizing the amount of paper used throughout the school year. This resource will assist with student learning in all classes and all learning styles.
In the event that our school sustains major damage from a hurricane or tornado, we will have to rebuild from the ground up. Securing essentials such as clean water and food takes priority. For my students to actively participate in finishing their assignments, they first need to know their basic needs will be met.
