My Project

I teach in an environment where students face possible hunger, loneliness as latch key kids, and emotional stressors. These students have difficulties sharing their burdens with others. They are often extremely private about their angst.

I would simply like to give my students healthy snacks to remind them that I’m still thinking of them.

I often rewarded students with nutritional snacks. Students knew that I always had cases of drinks in my closet, so I shared whatever I had with students, whether I taught the child or not. I'm glad that students felt comfortable enough to ask me for a snack or drink.
