Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Snacks such as chips, cookies, or candy can play a crucial role in supporting students' emotional, and academic needs in the classroom. They serve as a quick solution to hunger pangs during long periods of learning, preventing distractions and disruptions from hungry students. While also helping to bridge a gap for students who may come from a food insecure background. Snacks have been shown to encouraging student engagement and participation. When students are engaged and actively participating in class they are more likely to retain the information they are taught. Supporting this fundraiser for classroom snacks will undoubtedly enhance the learning experience for my students and help keep them motivated for the upcoming STAAR tests this year.
