Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Serving healthy snacks to children is important to providing good nutrition and supporting lifelong healthy eating habits. It also allows students that miss breakfast to have an option and not go hungry until lunch is served.

Snacks provide food for the body and the mind to help students stay focused on the task at hand instead of their hunger.

A lot of times my students come to school hungry and their only meals are the ones that they receive at school. The requested snacks will help provide my students with a healthy option when they are hungry. This will, in turn, help keep them engaged, motivated, and alert. I will also be able to send snacks home with students.
