Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is for students who need snacks and drinks. Most of my students come from poor communities and would benefit from having snacks and drinks in the classroom. . Funding this project will help students focus better in class because their immediate need for something to eat and drink will be an easy fix. Students that don't have to worry about their stomach growling are able to focus on what's most important which is learning. Students need food and hydration to function properly to have energy to keep active throughout the day. Snacks are good for kids because they help them stay focused at school and give them needed nutrients, and keep hunger at bay. Food is an essential part of life, and hunger is primal. I am always taken back how many kids come to school hungry.
