My Students

My students are hardworking kids from New York City in a special education class. They are hard-working, but happy students. My students come from low-income families and need every advantage they can get. They face many challenges outside of school, but they work hard in school to succeed.

They have the smarts and the motivation to be the best; let's give them the materials.

I want to ensure my students have all the necessary tools to compete in our challenging world.

My Project

Food insecurity impacts every community in America. Children who live in high poverty areas may not have enough food to eat three meals every day. Our school is a high poverty school so hunger is a problem that we face daily. During the regular school year, my students are provided free breakfast and lunch. Is it snack time yet? This is something I hear all the time.

This project includes breakfast foods and snacks that the children can enjoy while learning at home or in school.

Every little bit of help can be used at this time.
