My Project

"I am hungry!" That's what my second graders usually say during the school day. Our school day starts early at 8:15 am and lunch is at 11:30 am. My students are hungry by early afternoon. Our mornings are jam packed with reading, writing, and math. As we transition from subject to subject, students constantly ask when is lunchtime. Since we have an early lunch period, students are hungry before dismissal. I am asking for various snacks, such as fruit snacks, pretzels, crackers, popcorn, and chips for my students to snack on during the school day and to take home to snack on before they start their homework.

These healthy snacks will target hungry tummies, re-energize their bodies and help my second graders stay alert throughout the school day.

Your donations to this project will allow my students to work with full tummies. Just like adults, young children also need a snack to rejuvenate their brain cells during the long workday. Your donations to this project will allow me to provide nutritious snacks to re-energize students during the long workday.
