My Project

I am requesting a variety of snack items for my kids to eat during the day. These snacks will be made available to all students (NOT a reward) upon request. Kids who are hungry cannot learn. Kids who are hungry have a hard time regulating their emotions. Having these snacks on hand will allow my students to stay happy and focused during school.

Many of my students deal with food insecurity at home, and I want to combat that as much as possible.

To that end, I want to have a constant supply of healthy options as well as some tasty options. I will be supplementing these snacks with fresh fruits and veggies as well.

My students are amazing kids! They deal with so much outside of school. I want them to think of school in the most positive way possible. I think that feeling full will go a long way towards building trust and a happy, healthy environment.
