My Project
My students are in grades 9-12 and need a snack break while learning financial literacy through our Board Games to Books and reading for leisure time. Many students begin their school day at 8:00 am and end at 3:40 pm, and students who wish to participate in the workshops have eaten lunch earlier in the day.
A healthy snack will provide the nourishment to remain actively engaged during the long hours of playing Monopoly and the Game of Life after-school.
My goal for this project is to continue the momentum we have built thus far this school year. My high school students are engaged and learning lifelong skills.
