Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Snack time is always the best part of the day! Our kinder kiddos eat lunch pretty early in the day. It is important for them to have a snack in the afternoon in order to help them focus and to fulfill their hunger needs. Students can no do anything else if their basic needs are not met. Working in a title 1 school, a lot of the times, food that children receive at school is the only food they will receive all day. The chips, cheeze its, rice krispie treats, goldfish and fruit snack will help to ensure each student will get a snack in the afternoon to help them get through the rest of their school day. The cookies and juice will be a nice treat to celebrate special days in the classroom. It takes a village to help students be successful in school. Thank you for being a part of mine!
