This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My scholars are very shy and sweet individuals. They are coming to school for the first time and having to adapt.

Snack time at the end of the day is important.

During this time students can wind down from the day and listen to a story as they enjoy a small snack. This snack can help them make it to dinner time or allow them to try something new.

Even if the snack is small it is something that may help them to focus on their learning, while at school. This is something I would love to do for them.
