My Project

This project has snacks that I can keep in my classroom throughout the year for when my students come to school without a snack. We have snack time each afternoon but I often have students who do not bring anything for snack. I like to have items on hand for when this happens so they are not left out while others are eating.

Most students are hungry by this time and it helps to have a few options to give them.

My school is a low-income school and if I can help in any way, especially with hunger, that is what I will do.

I am also hoping to get birthday crowns to celebrate their special day as well as a barber shop dramatic play set to use with our community unit. We have books that talk about a barber shop and it would be fun for the kids to be able to act it out and connect to the story.
