This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This proposal seeks funding to provide students with Hershey bars, fruit snacks, and Rice Krispies Treats during daily after-school AP English Literature review sessions, as well as to prepare snack packs for students on exam day. The goal is to support student focus, engagement, and well-being by offering energizing and enjoyable snacks during study sessions and before exams, helping students maintain concentration and boost morale as they prepare for the AP exam.

AP English Literature is a challenging course that requires consistent preparation, critical analysis, and extensive reading.

During after-school review sessions, students need a combination of mental and physical support to stay engaged and focused. Enjoyable snacks, like Hershey bars, fruit snacks, and Rice Krispies Treats, can help keep energy levels high and morale strong, allowing students to perform better academically and stay motivated throughout the review process.

By providing these snacks, this initiative will enhance students' focus and engagement during AP English Literature review sessions, while offering quick and enjoyable energy boosts on exam day. These snacks will create a supportive environment for students as they prepare for the AP exam, promoting both mental and physical well-being, which is essential for academic success.

We believe this small investment in student well-being will yield significant improvements in performance and student morale during this crucial preparation period.
