My Project

My first graders start school every day ay 7:30 am. Then our lunch time is 9:45 am. My students don't eat again until they go home after 2:10pm. This is a long gap of time that they don't have anything to eat, which leads to rumbling bellies.

We tried to do a class snack but not everyone was able to bring in something to eat, so this didn't solve the problem.

I want to have everyone have some type of snack option available to them (fruit snacks, pirate's booty, ring pops, dum dums, pop corners, etc...). When our bellies are full, our minds are able to work better.
