This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a vibrant mix of creative thinkers, resilient learners, and eager collaborators who truly shine when given the support they need. Many face food insecurity, which can distract from their learning, so these snacks will do more than fill bellies—they’ll fuel focused discussions in Movie Club, energize meetings in our Brown & Black Student Union, and sustain engagement in ELA/History classes. With these resources, I aim to create a more inclusive and stimulating environment where every student feels valued and empowered to explore their full academic potential. By addressing their basic needs, we can ensure that hunger never stands in the way of their creativity, critical thinking, and passion for learning.
