My Students

The students at my school are amazing. I know you probably hear this a lot, but seriously, my students are phenomenal. They attend a K-12 public school for gifted and talents students in the middle of a major city!

Our students are creative, innovative, and full of life, but this is only part of what makes them so phenomenal.

They are eager to learn not only their subjects in school but they also want to know more about the world around them.

My Project

We all know, it is hard to do anything on an empty stomach. When students are expected to pay attention when their stomachs are grumbling we cannot expect them to retain what they are hearing. With this project, we will be able to have snacks on-hand in our classroom to give to our students whenever needed.

There is nothing worse then learning on an empty stomach.

Sometimes students are not able to eat enough before they come to school to sustain them until their lunch time. With the different snacks in the project we will be able to give students small snacks that they can eat to help sustain their energy while in class.
