Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am truly passionate about my students and their learning journey in STEM class. Their enthusiasm for coming to class is inspiring, and as we approach the end of the year, I want to ensure that they remain focused and motivated. I understand that as the year winds down, students may sometimes feel tired or distracted. This is why I believe it is important to provide them with the right resources to help them succeed.

To support their learning, I plan to give them snacks and fidget toys in the classroom.

These resources serve a dual purpose: they address hunger and provide an outlet for restlessness. By offering snacks, I can help alleviate distractions caused by hunger, allowing students to concentrate better on their tasks. Additionally, fidget toys can help students refocus their energy and attention, encouraging them to engage more fully in their learning activities.

Ultimately, my goal is to create an environment where every student feels supported and encouraged to make positive choices. I care about their well-being and academic success, and I believe that by equipping them with these resources, I can foster a more productive and enjoyable learning experience in STEM class.
